Come back to your house emitting the most taunting and delicious smell of the beef stroganoff that has been cooking in the crock pot for hours. I am obsessed with crock pot recipes. There is really nothing more convenient then just throwing all the ingredients together and walking away. It is un ultimate comfort food. The feeling you get eating beef stroganoff is the same as laying in warm bed, in a comfy pajama and fuzzy slippers, cuddling five cute puppies and  watching the best tv show. It is comfort food on steroids.

And made with the minimal effort on your part the sauce is luxuriously rich with a multidimensional deep, beefy flavors from the hours of stewing. Red wine really intensifies the taste of the sauce with woodsy mushrooms adding delicious earthy undertones. Aromatics like garlic and onions also add to the complexity of flavors. The beef stroganoff  is creamy, velvety and delicious.

Nothing better then coming home from the cold outside  to a cozy and nourishing, filling dish that is almost ready. With just a few simple steps in the end this dish is effortless. Made  all in one crockpot, no mess, no dishes. The best type of meal. And the red wine that you added to the beef stew is opened so why not have a glass or two while you finishing it up. Cook the noodles for 5 minutes before everything is finished cooking, stir in sour cream and noodles. They will soak in some of the juices without becoming too soggy so make sure to slightly undercook the noodles.

After cooking for 8 hours the beef is melt in your mouth tender and the sauce is lusciously rich and flavorful. And the leftovers are to die for, so make sure to save some for lunch for the next day.
